The goal of my work is to keep historic architecture alive through my drawings. Creating texture is of the utmost importance as every blemish, stain or jagged edge of stone tells a story of the subject’s life. With incredible care and commitment, I study how light interacts with each subject, and with varying pencil strokes and painstaking attention to value contrast, I try to create textures that lift the subject off of the paper and bring it to life. It is my hope that through my fine level of detail, the viewer sees the beauty of the forgotten or commonplace buildings we take for granted today.

Hey man, your drawings of buildings are incredible - if I hadn't seen the WIP-pictures I'd make a bet that they are b/w-photographs! Absolutely fabulous! Looking forward to seeing more of your stunning work! Bye for now
Thank you so much for the kind words and for watching back - makes me very happy!
